Lame Earth Encyclopedia

A real disappointment - I am deleting it from my iPod Touch G2. What little information it presents is generally current and accurate, but it's nothing but a few paragraphs of text pasted on a pretty background. The text presentation is poorly formatted so that lines extend off the side of the screen. Worse, its novel scrolling dial is a non-standard method that just gets in the way, covering over some of the text so that you have to scroll just to see the obscured text. There are some interesting factoids, but nothing in the way of thorough data relating to any of the topics covered. The text has typos, at least one of which is seriously misleading: it cites the mass of the earth as 5 x 1024, presumably meaning 5 x 10^24. Basically there is no more information in this app than you might find in a glossy 4-page flyer at a museum.
